I loved it. My first holiday at the campsite was amazing the staff are really nice and good to have a chat with. The gymnase (playground) is really good it has a basketball hoop, football pitch, ping pong tables and a bouncy castle. The pools (both indoor and outdoor) are amazing the outdoor one has a really good slide and the indoor one has a sauna/ hot tub. There is also a games room with a cafe/bar that serve burgers, Crispy Chicken, French fries and a huge variety of drinks and snacks. There is also loads of entertainment such as Bingo, foam parties , go karting, bubble football, and Mr and Mrs camping election, which is very fun. I fully recommend this campsite to anybody body who wants to have nice camping holiday.

UPDATE there is someone with pressure cleaning equipment in the showers, it should be back as it should. Camped here. Showers are modern and easy to clean. But we're filthy. Didn't use the pool after seeing the state of the showers. Came in April was told on site bar opens next week. Came end of May told on site bar only open at weekends.

Great campsite with brilliant pools esp. for children. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean shower & toilet facilities. On-site shop and bar/café are good. The local beach is lovely with lifeguards and dedicated swimming area. Take or rent a bike as there are loads of cycle routes to enjoy.

A nice campsite with large pitches and a wonderful, nicely landscaped swimming pool, both an indoor and outdoor pool. Good location with many recreational opportunities in the area. The owners do their very best to make you feel at home. …

first time stopped at Pen Palud very nice good swimming pools and good location would recommend Pen Palud camping very happy with tha sze of the pitches and toilets

From far a top notch place to stay for a night or a season. Owners are a family and you can tell from the beginning that they have a real heart for what they do. All conveniences are clean and modern there is nothing you can complain (or you are a natural born complainer). They have a very nice outdoor swimming pool + (good for rainy days) an indoor pool that is warm (for those of you who are getting cold fast!).My tip : first week of July and last week of June are very good time to attend this camping! While I was there there was a dolphin in the harbour; i could -after hours spend 5 m away from it- get closer to itand play with it-with my kayak or by swimming close to it-. i will never forget this experience that would have been impossible without this camping Pen Palud that made it possible for me to stay in the area.

A small camp site with very friendly owners. Nice pool. Small bar everything's clean and tidy. Not far from beach a great place for nature lovers and a nice relaxing break. Close to shops and many picturesque villages

Despite being descended upon by ten hairy, noisy, British bikers, the host and his site was much more than we expected. We intended it to be a one-night stop-over on our way to Chinon but ended up staying for several days.||||Excellent facilities and a convivial host.||||Close enough to beach and bars to walk. Recommended to all.
